Prime Video has dropped an explosive new trailer for the highly anticipated second season of ‘Gen V’, the hit spinoff series set in the Emmy Award-winning world of ‘The Boys’, during its packed San Diego Comic-Con panel. The first three episodes of the new season will arrive on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The panel featured cast members Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass), and showrunner Michele Fazekas, with P.J. Byrne (The Boys) moderating the discussion. Fans were also treated to a surprise greeting from Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), who reprises his role as The Deep in a guest appearance this season.
The new trailer teases fresh chaos at Godolkin University, with Ethan Slater (Wicked) joining the cast as Thomas Godolkin in a recurring role, along with surprising cameos from the wider ‘The Boys’ universe. It also confirms Sean Patrick Thomas (Till), who plays Polarity, has been promoted to series regular.
In Season Two, the stakes are higher than ever. As America adjusts to Homelander’s iron rule, Godolkin University introduces a mysterious new Dean whose curriculum promises to make students more powerful than ever. Cate and Sam are celebrated as heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma reluctantly return to college, still reeling from trauma and loss. But as war brews between humans and supes, the group uncovers a secret program tied to the founding of the university, and Marie’s unexpected connection to it.
