The award-winning horror drama ‘Yellowjackets’ is heading to ITVX next month, with the streamer becoming the exclusive UK free-to-air home for the critically acclaimed US series.
Seasons 1 and 2 of ‘Yellowjackets’ will arrive on ITVX in February, giving UK viewers a new chance to catch up with one of the most talked-about genre dramas of the past few years, or finally discover what all the buzzing, unsettling fuss has been about.
Created and executive produced by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (Narcos), ‘Yellowjackets’ blends survival drama, psychological horror, and coming-of-age storytelling into something that feels as much like a character study as it does a slow-burn nightmare.
The series stars Melanie Lynskey (Castle Rock), Juliette Lewis (Camping), Christina Ricci (Z: The Beginning of Everything), and Tawny Cypress (Unforgettable), leading an ensemble cast that spans two intertwined timelines.
At its core, ‘Yellowjackets’ follows a highly talented girls’ high-school football team whose lives are torn apart when their plane crashes deep in the remote northern wilderness. What begins as a desperate fight for survival gradually fractures into rival factions and brutal moral compromises.
