Apple TV is doubling down on suburban secrets, confirming an early season three renewal for ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’, even before the drama returns with its second run this April. Alongside the renewal news, the streamer has also unveiled a teaser trailer and first-look images for season two, which sees the story escalate with the arrival of a very familiar new face.
The series stars Jon Hamm as Andrew Cooper, a seemingly ordinary suburbanite whose double life as an unlikely thief continues to spiral. In season two, Cooper leans further into his criminal sideline, until a new neighbour arrives who threatens to unravel his carefully constructed world and put his family directly in harm’s way.
Joining the cast for the new season is James Marsden, moving into the neighbourhood and immediately complicating matters. He joins returning stars Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan.
Created by Jonathan Tropper, the drama comes from Apple Studios, with Tropper serving as showrunner, director and executive producer through his Tropper Ink banner under an overall deal with Apple TV. Hamm also executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directs six episodes of the new season.
Since its debut, ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ has become one of Apple TV’s standout dramas, earning strong critical praise and a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The series has been described as “an addictive binge-watch”, anchored by Hamm’s endlessly watchable central performance.
‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ Season 2 premieres Friday, 3rd April 2026 on Apple TV.
