The second award to be announced in the 3rd Annual GeekTown Awards is for Best TV Drama. We were somewhat spoilt with options for great drama over the last 12 months, but there were 2 shows in particular which the Geektown voters rated above everything else…

Bronze : Homeland (Channel 4)
Claire Danes heads up a superb cast including Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson & Rupert Friend as Peter Quinn, as the CIA set up in Pakistan for season 4.
Silver: Hannibal (Sky Living)
A truly epic 2nd season helped push Hannibal into taking the Silver this year as Will and Hannibal once again lock horns…
Joint Gold: Game of Thrones / The Walking Dead
It seems you found it impossible to choose between the 2 colossus of tv drama.
The stunning, epic and frankly amazing Game of Thrones returned for a 4th season. Whilst this season might not have quite the shock value of season 3’s infamous ‘Red Wedding’, season 4’s “The Lion and the Rose” comes damned close… More wine Joffrey? ;)
The Walking Dead returned for a 5th season, seeing more shocking deaths and amazing twists. Currently on mid-season break, we can’t wait for TWD to return in early Feb 2015…
