‘Blue Bloods’ Season 12 Gets June Premiere On Sky Witness & NOW
The world’s greatest acting moustache (which as the pleasure of being attached to Tom Selleck) returns as ‘Blue Bloods‘ Season 12 gets a June UK premiere date on Sky Witness and NOW.
The police procedural drama follows a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the New York Police Commissioner and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry (Len Cariou), during his stint as Chief.
The family consists of the eldest son, Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez); Erin (Bridget Moynahan), a New York Assistant D.A. who also serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, as well as a single parent to her teenage daughter, Nicky (Sami Gayle); Jamie (Will Estes) is the youngest Reagan, who gave up a lucrative future in law to follow in the family footsteps as a cop; And Eddie (Vanessa Ray), Jamie’s partner who keeps him on his toes, and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force. After several years of working together, Jamie and Eddie finally succumbed to their strong feelings for one another and tied the knot.
As we head into season twelve, Danny consults a psychic to solve the murder of a young boy, whilst Frank is at odds with the mayor over how best to protect the city from an uptick in crime following a high-profile shooting. Also, Erin investigates a decades-old case in which the primary eyewitness to the killing is her boss, D.A. Kimberly Crawford, who was 13 years old at the time.
