Sky Sets May UK Premiere Dates For ‘Law & Order: SVU’ Season 24 & ‘Organized Crime’ Season 3
Sky Witness has set May UK premiere dates for ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime‘ Season 3 and ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit‘ Season 24, which is great news for fans… The not-so-great news is that the season begins with a three-part crossover event, and, as the astute amongst you may have noticed, only two shows are listed there…
The third season of ‘Organized Crime’ begins with a special crossover event. A young girl is shot and Cosgrove teams with Det. Jalen Shaw to track down her killer. Benson and Stabler assist and realize it’s more than a typical homicide. McCoy and Price seek justice against an international crime ring, but complications threaten the case. The crossover event continues as ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ begins its 24th season. Unfortunately, it concludes in the revival of the original ‘Law & Order‘… which does not have a UK broadcaster…
We have spoken to Sky about this. They are aware the finale of the crossover will be missing, but they do not have the rights to the revival series, and neither does anyone else in the UK at the moment, as far as we’re aware. We’ve no idea why Sky has decided not to acquire the ‘Law & Order’ revival, especially when they broadcast every single other series from Dick Wolf, the overlord of the ‘Law & Order’, ‘FBI’ and ‘Chicago’ franchises… but they haven’t. There may be rights issues we are unaware of. It may have been picked up by someone else in the UK, and they just haven’t announced it yet. It may be that Universal Television/Wolf Entertainment are asking an astronomical fee for the original series. We just have no idea, but on the face of it, it is a bizarre decision on the part of Sky.
The ‘Law & Order’ franchise is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
‘Law & Order: Organized Crime‘ Season 3 premieres Monday, 22nd May 2023 at 10pm, with ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit‘ Season 24 beginning Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 at 10pm, both on Sky Witness.

Madness that part 3 is not available in the UK. More so when the promos on sky for new seasons of organised crime and SVU talks about 3 squads, 3 hours in the season kick off but no way of watching part 3.
