Netflix drama ‘The Lincoln Lawyer‘ will be back for Season 4, which is great news given where we left Mickey with that bombshell end to Season 3!
Based on the series of bestselling novels by renowned author Michael Connelly, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ follows Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an iconoclastic idealist, who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles.
Alongside Garcia-Rulfo, the returning main cast includes Becki Newton (Lorna), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco), and Yaya DaCosta (Andrea). Neve Campbell (Maggie), who was absent for a lot of last season will also return full-time for Season 4.
The new 10-episode season will be based on the sixth book in Connelly’s The Lincoln Lawyer series, The Law of Innocence, and begins production in February 2025. Without giving too much away, the return of Maggie makes sense, as she plays a significant role in that novel. She’s also a lawyer, and given the end of season three, Mickey will need all the legal help he can get!
“We are so excited to tell more stories with Mickey Haller, and especially thrilled to once again be shooting The Lincoln Lawyer in Los Angeles at this time,” commented co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez. “The show is in many ways a love letter to our city and a homage to the great tradition of LA noir, and after the tragedy of the fires we are so grateful and honoured to be able to provide some stability and hope to the community.”
‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ was created for television by David E. Kelley (‘Big Little Lies’, ‘Goliath’) and developed by Ted Humphrey (‘The Good Wife’, ‘Wisdom of the Crowd’). Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez executive produce alongside Kelley, Michael Connelly, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen and Tana Jamieson. A+E serves as the studio.
‘The Lincoln Lawyer‘ Season 4 does not yet have a premiere date, but will premiere on Netflix UK and worldwide. If you want to keep track of this or any other show, add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when they get a UK premiere date.
