Prime Video Serves Up Charred Chaos in ‘Invincible’ Season Four Teaser, Coming March 2026

by Dave Elliott

Prime Video has unleashed the first teaser for Invincible Season Four, and it’s pure, battered brilliance. The short clip debuted during a packed New York Comic Con panel in front of more than 4,500 fans, with Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, and co-creator Robert Kirkman revealing the footage and confirming the series will return in March 2026.

The teaser opens in the burnt-out remains of Burger Mart, where Mark and Eve sit among the ashes, sharing a conversation that is equal parts flirty and fed up. Mark insists he has been saving the world “single-handedly,” while Eve gently, and sarcastically, reminds him that everyone else was there too. The lone, charred burger on the table is the perfect symbol for the show’s tone: blackened, but still very funny.

Season Three left the planet in ruins. The Guardians were torn apart, Conquest nearly destroyed Earth, and Mark was left wrestling with his own violent instincts. By the finale, he was beginning to blur the line between heroism and vengeance. The teaser hints that Season Four will pick up in that uneasy aftermath as Mark tries to rebuild a life while the universe lines up new threats.

Fans also got a major casting announcement. Lee Pace (Foundation, Bodies Bodies Bodies) joins the voice cast as Thragg, the Grand Regent of the Viltrum Empire and one of the comic’s most fearsome villains. Trained from birth to rule with absolute cruelty, Thragg’s arrival signals that things are about to get even bloodier.

Returning cast members include Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matthew Rhys, Zazie Beetz, Zachary Quinto, Ross Marquand, and Mark Hamill, alongside Yeun and Jacobs. Based on the acclaimed comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, the series is produced by Skybound Animation and Amazon MGM Studios, with Kirkman, Rogen, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Simon Racioppa, Margaret M. Dean, and Evan Goldberg among the executive producers.

Invincible’ continues to be one of Prime Video’s biggest animated hits. Season Three became the platform’s most-watched animated title ever, picking up Emmy and Critics Choice nominations and a flawless 100% Rotten Tomatoes score for its mix of emotional depth, wild storytelling, and unapologetic gore.

The teaser ends with Mark fumbling his way through a trailer card reveal before Eve steps in to fix it, exasperated but amused. It is the perfect metaphor for their relationship and for Invincible itself: messy, self-aware, and always a little bit unhinged.
