Netflix UK is diving deeper into Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe this December as the streamer picks up ‘Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order’ for its UK debut.
The supernatural spy thriller marks the third entry in the expanding Immortal Universe, following ‘Interview with the Vampire’ and ‘Mayfair Witches’. Both of those series originally aired on the BBC in the UK before finding second homes on Netflix. This time, Netflix takes the lead for UK viewers as the shadowy world of Rice’s mythos grows even darker.
Created by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, The Little Things), ‘Talamasca: The Secret Order’ introduces audiences to Guy Anatole (played by Nicholas Denton (Dangerous Liaisons)), a young law student whose life changes when he’s approached by the mysterious organisation known as the Talamasca, a secret society tasked with monitoring and containing supernatural beings such as vampires and witches. When Guy discovers that the group has been tracking him since childhood, he’s pulled into a dangerous world of espionage, ancient power and immortal intrigue.
The cast also includes Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey) as Helen, the leader of the New York Motherhouse, William Fichtner (The Dark Knight) as Jasper, a vampire who oversees the London Motherhouse, Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Nine Perfect Strangers) as Olive, a Talamasca agent and Guy’s handler, and Celine Buckens (Showtrial) as Doris. Special guest stars feature Jason Schwartzman (Mountainhead) and Eric Bogosian, reprising his Interview with the Vampire role as Daniel Molloy, the journalist-turned-vampire whose story helped launch the entire saga.
Produced by AMC Networks and executive produced by Mark Johnson (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), Mark Lafferty and Tom Williams, the series first premiered on AMC in the US in October 2025. It now makes its UK debut exclusively on Netflix.
