by Dave Elliott

Disney+ has released the first look images for Furious, a new Hulu Original drama series starring Emmy Rossum (Shameless, The Crowded Room) as an FBI agent tracking a mysterious female serial killer.

Created by Elizabeth Meriwether (New Girl, The Dropout), the series follows FBI agent Alice Black, played by Rossum, as she hunts a calculating killer whose own pursuit of justice begins to blur the line between right and wrong. As the two women move closer together, their lives start to intertwine, raising the question of where justice ends and obsession begins.

The drama stars Emmy Rossum (Shameless, The Crowded Room), Lola Petticrew (Bloodlands, Dating Amber), Scoot McNairy (Narcos: Mexico, Halt and Catch Fire), Quincy Tyler Bernstine (Power Book II: Ghost, Modern Love) and Jake Lacy (The White Lotus, A Friend of the Family).

‘Furious’ was created, written and executive produced by Elizabeth Meriwether. Rossum also executive produces for Composition 8, alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead and Sam Hoffman. Brian Kirk executive produces and directs the opening two episodes. The series is produced by 20th Television and Searchlight Television.

The series will launch with three episodes, followed by new episodes weekly.

Furious’ premieres Monday, 27th July 2026 on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the USA.
