The 10-episode fourth season once again follows Captain Christopher Pike and his crew as they head out across the stars for a new run of thrilling and emotional adventures. Along the way, they will face inner demons, external threats, colourful new characters, familiar faces, and some rather terrifying aliens. Standard day at the office for Starfleet, really.

They are joined by guest stars Carol Kane (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) as Pelia and Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries) as James T. Kirk.
Produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment, ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ has been one of the more warmly received modern entries in the long-running sci-fi franchise, mixing episodic space adventures with the character drama and optimism that made classic Star Trek such an enduring part of television history.
Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers serve as co-showrunners, with Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, Aaron Baiers, Dana Horgan, Alan McElroy, Robbie Thompson, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Chris Fisher, Anson Mount, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serving as executive producers for the fourth season.
