Production is underway on Season 3 of ‘Saint-Pierre’, with Assaad Bouab (Call My Agent!, Bad Sisters) and Caroline Dhavernas (Mary Kills People, Hannibal) joining the Canadian crime drama.
The 12-episode season is filming in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and will also head across the North Atlantic to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, France, giving the production access to the distinctive island setting that has become such a major part of the show.
For UK viewers, U&alibi has only aired Season 1 of ‘Saint-Pierre’ so far, with the opening run arriving in April 2026. Season 2 has not yet been given a UK premiere date, although it is expected to follow, probably during 2027. That means we may have a little while to wait before Season 3 reaches this side of the Atlantic.
The series follows Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Inspector Donald Fitzpatrick, better known as Fitz, who is exiled to work in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, the French territory nestled between Newfoundland and France.
Fitz is partnered with Deputy Chief Geneviève Archambault, known as Arch, a Parisian transplant who has her own intriguing reasons for relocating to the islands. While Saint-Pierre might look like a peaceful tourist destination, its idyllic exterior conceals more than enough criminal activity to keep the pair busy.
As they tackle cases and gradually uncover each other’s family secrets, the relationship between Arch and Fitz has grown from an uneasy working partnership into a close friendship.
Season 3 introduces Assaad Bouab (Call My Agent!, Bad Sisters) as Pascal Lalonde, a highly decorated officer from mainland France who is sent to Saint-Pierre because of his impressive record dismantling criminal organisations. Those skills are badly needed as the islands adjust to life following the Gallagher crime operation.
Caroline Dhavernas (Mary Kills People, Hannibal) joins as Victoria Peters, a well-educated and forward-thinking businesswoman who has plans to put Saint-Pierre on the map as a world-class tourist destination.
Victoria also forms an immediate and powerful connection with Fitz, which could complicate matters for the inspector both personally and professionally.
The newcomers join returning leads Allan Hawco (Republic of Doyle, Caught, Jack Ryan) and Joséphine Jobert (Death in Paradise) as Fitz and Arch.
Also returning are Benz Antoine (Four Brothers, Get Rich or Die Tryin’), Erika Prevost (The Boys, Dare Me) and Jean-Michel Le Gal (Paris Paris, Accused).
The first season earned six Canadian Screen Award nominations, while CBC has described ‘Saint-Pierre’ as its most-watched drama series of the 2025/26 season.

The series is produced by Hawco Productions for CBC and CBC Gem, with FIFTH SEASON handling global distribution. Allan Hawco and Robina Lord-Stafford serve as executive producers and showrunners.
Janine Squires, Erin Sullivan and John Vatcher are also executive producers, while the Season 3 directors include Winnifred Jong, Sharon Lewis, Vanessa Matsui, TJ Scott and John Vatcher.
‘Saint-Pierre’ Season 3 premieres in winter 2027 on CBC and CBC Gem in Canada. U&alibi has not yet announced a UK premiere date for Season 2 or Season 3.
