Patrick J. Adams Joins ‘Sneaky Pete’ Season 3 In Recurring Role

‘Suits’ star Patrick J. Adams is no stranger to con men, having spent 7 Seasons playing fake lawyer Mike Ross on the legal drama. However, he is about to meet his match when he joins Amazon Prime’s brilliant Sneaky Pete for its 3rd Season.

The critically acclaimed drama stars Giovanni Ribisi (‘Avatar’) as a con man Marius, who left prison only to find himself hunted by the vicious gangster, Vince (Bryan Cranston – ‘Breaking Bad’), he once robbed. With nowhere else to turn, he took cover from his past by assuming the identity of his cellmate Pete, “reuniting” with Pete’s estranged family.

According to Deadline, who broke the news, Adams is set to play business magnate Stefano Kilbane. He is described as arrogant, obsessed with fine art, and has a deep need for revenge.

Adams joins Ribisi and other returning cast members, Marin Ireland (Julia), Shane McRae (Taylor), Libe Barer (Carly), Margo Martindale (Audrey), and Peter Gerety (Otto). The 3rd Season will also feature the final on-screen performance by actor/magician Ricky Jay, who joined the show this season in a recurring role, but sadly passed away during filming. The producers have said he will still appear, although they adjusted the story to be able to write out his character.

This will be the first new regular TV role for since he left ‘Suits’ along with Megan Markle at the end of Season 7. However, it’s extremely likely we will see Mike pop up again in the legal drama when it concludes its run next season, although we’re unlikely to see Markle return.

Sneaky Pete‘ Season 3 does not yet have a premiere date, but it will return later in 2019.
