‘Lupin’ Season 3 Gets October Premiere Date On Netflix

Hit French-language drama Lupin returns to Netflix as the streaming service announces an October premiere date for Season 3.

‘Lupin’ stars Omar Sy (‘Intouchables’, ‘The Call of the Wild’) in a contemporary adaptation of the Maurice LeBlanc novels. As a teenager, Assane Diop’s (Sy) life was turned upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. 25 years later, Assane uses “Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar” as his inspiration to avenge his father.

Season two of the drama, which aired in June 2021, saw Assane’s quest for revenge against Hubert Pelligrini tear his family to pieces. With his back to the wall, he had to think of a new plan, even if it meant putting himself in danger.

In season three, Assane is now in hiding and must learn to live far from his wife and son. With the suffering they endure because of him, Assane can’t stand it any longer and decides to return to Paris to make them a crazy proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his plans upside down.

Alongside Sy, the series stars Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab and Shirine Boutella. ‘Lupin’ is created by George Kay (‘Killing Eve’) in collaboration with François Uzan (‘Family Business’) and is produced by Isabelle Degeorges and Nathan Franck from Gaumont Télévision. Ludovic Bernard, Podz and Xavier Gens direct the series.

Lupin‘ Season 3 premieres Thursday, 5th October 2023 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
