E4 Sets October Premiere For ‘My Adventures With Superman’ Animated Series
E4 has set an October UK premiere date for ‘My Adventures With Superman‘, the Adult Swim animated series that follows Clark Kent and his best friend Jimmy Olsen as they start their internship at The Daily Planet and meet fellow intern Lois Lane. (And before anyone asks, no, we still don’t have a date for Season 4 of Harley Quinn…)
‘My Adventures with Superman’ is a serialized coming-of-age story catching up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.
The story follows Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and explores his mysterious origins. Lois, on her way to becoming a star reporter, teams up with photographer Jimmy Olsen to break the stories that matter. All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love… as Lois gets closer and closer to uncovering his secret identity! Our trio share adventures, take down bad guys, stumble over secrets, and discover what it means to be heroes in their own right.
The series features Jack Quaid (The Boys, Star Trek: Lower Decks) as the voice of Clark Kent, Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) as the voice of Lois Lane, and Ishmel Sahid (Jury Duty) as the voice of Jimmy Olsen. Other notable cast popping up in the series includes Reid Scott (Veep, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Jonathan Kent, Kari Wahlgren (multiple animes, Fairly OddParents, Animaniacs, Velma) as Martha Kent, Chris Parnell (Archer, Rick and Morty) as Slade Wilson, Debra Wilson (Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarok, Batman: The Enemy Within) as Amanda Waller, and Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest, Evil) as Brainiac.
Sam Register (“Teen Titans Go!”) serves as executive producer. Jake Wyatt (“Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus”) and Brendan Clogher (“Voltron: Legendary Defender”) are on board as co-executive producers and Josie Campbell (“She-Ra and the Princesses of Power”) as co-producer. The series comes from Warner Bros. Animation and DC.
‘My Adventures With Superman‘ Season 1 premieres Friday, 20th October 2023 at 1:50am on E4, and streaming on the Channel 4 website.
