Frontier has unveiled a fresh Feature Focus video for ‘Jurassic World Evolution 3’, showing off just how creative you can get with your prehistoric playgrounds. Thousands of scenery pieces, themes, and blueprints are being added, letting park managers design every corner from scratch or, if you’re feeling less architect and more chaotician, throw down blueprints from the in-game workshop to get your dinosaur empire roaring into life.
Also stomping onto the scene this week is the brand-new Dinosaur Database, a dedicated hub packed with detailed info on each species announced so far, complete with family units. Frontier promises more dinos will be revealed as we march closer to launch, so expect the roster to keep expanding. You can explore the database here: jurassicworldevolution.com/3/dinosaurs.
A Personal Take – Planet Zoo: Dino Edition?
I’ve always loved management/building sims, and both JWE and JWE2 ate up plenty of my hours. That said, my big gripe was the rigid building system. Everything was locked into pre-made models, which felt limiting compared to Frontier’s other big franchises, Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo, where you can get lost in decorating every tiny detail.
Judging by this new video, Frontier has taken the Planet Zoo creative toolset and transplanted it into JWE3. The result? Far more freedom in shaping your park, down to the smallest detail. Honestly, it looks like Planet Zoo: Dino Edition – and that’s a very good thing.
