Jared Padalecki is finally riding into the UK, as Walker Season 1 pops up on Paramount+ UK this July.

A reimagining of the long-running 90s series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’, the drama stars Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two who returns home to Austin after spending two years undercover. Unfortunately for Walker, slipping back into family life turns out to be rather more complicated than slipping into a cowboy hat.

Back home, Walker attempts to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son, August, and his headstrong teenage daughter, Stella, while also dealing with a family who had to carry on in his absence. That includes his ADA brother Liam, who stepped in while Walker was away, his perceptive mother Abeline, and his traditional rancher father Bonham.

The series also sees Walker partnered with Micki Ramirez, one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history, while he begins to grow increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death.

Alongside Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), the cast includes Lindsey Morgan (The 100) as Micki Ramirez, Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) as Liam Walker, Molly Hagan (Herman’s Head) as Abeline Walker, Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files) as Bonham Walker, Coby Bell (The Game) as Captain Larry James, Kale Culley (Me, Myself and I) as August Walker, Violet Brinson (Sharp Objects) as Stella Walker, and Jeff Pierre as Trey Barnett.

‘Walker’ was developed by Anna Fricke (Being Human, Valor), who also writes and executive produces. Dan Lin, Lindsay Liberatore and Jared Padalecki also executive produce. The drama comes from CBS Studios in association with Rideback.

Season 1 consists of 18 episodes, all of which are expected to land as a box set on Paramount+ UK.

Walker’ Season 1 premieres Friday, 3rd July 2026 on Paramount+ UK. If I want to keep track of this or any other shows, I can add them via our Never Miss system, and I’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
