Sky has unveiled the first trailer for ‘YAGA’, a seductive contemporary mystery thriller starring Carrie-Anne Moss and Noah Reid, which arrives exclusively on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland this October.
The eight-part series stars Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as Rapp, a private investigator who travels to a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park, the young heir to a powerful fishery, played by Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry).
However, Rapp quickly finds himself clashing with Carson, an apprehensive local detective played by Clark Backo (The Changeling), while Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) stars as Katherine, a charismatic university professor with a taste for younger men.
As the investigation unfolds, Rapp is drawn into a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives and ancient magic. With powerful family interests, an isolated coastal setting and seemingly everyone harbouring secrets, ‘YAGA’ looks set to deliver a particularly tangled mystery for viewers to unravel.
The supporting cast includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle, Hiro Kanagawa, Emilija Baranac, Georgia Acken, Anisa Harris and Sam Krochmal.
Created and written by Kat Sandler, ‘YAGA’ is a Crave Original series produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. David Frazee and Rachel Talalay serve as co-directors, while Mackenzie Donaldson, Andrew Miller and Carrie-Anne Moss executive produce. Charles Cooper serves as producer.
The series is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus and was acquired for Sky by Lucy Criddle, Director of Acquisitions and Strategic Projects.
‘YAGA’ premieres October 2026 on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland. If you want to keep track of this or any other shows, you can add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
