Sky has revealed the next two hosts and musical guests heading into Studio 1 at Television Centre for the second series of ‘Saturday Night Live UK‘, with Jamie Demetriou and Amelia Dimoldenberg taking hosting duties later this month.
Following the Season 2 opener with Jeff Goldblum and CMAT, quadruple-BAFTA-winning comedy writer and actor Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats, The Moment) will take over hosting duties for the second episode, joined by British rock duo Royal Blood as musical guests.
The following week, award-winning host, writer and producer Amelia Dimoldenberg (Chicken Shop Date) steps up to the famous live comedy gig, with acclaimed indie pop singer Rachel Chinouriri providing the music.
As with the original US version, each episode of ‘SNL UK’ features a different celebrity host and musical guest alongside topical sketches, live performances and a British spin on the iconic Weekend Update segment.
The returning ensemble includes Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young, alongside new cast member Freddie Meredith (Such Brave Girls).
Sky has confirmed the dates and line-ups for the first three episodes, with another three shows following in October:
- Saturday, 12th September 2026: Jeff Goldblum & CMAT
- Saturday, 19th September 2026: Jamie Demetriou & Royal Blood
- Saturday, 26th September 2026: Amelia Dimoldenberg & Rachel Chinouriri
- Saturday, 10th October 2026: Host and musical guest TBA
- Saturday, 17th October 2026: Host and musical guest TBA
- Saturday, 24th October 2026: Host and musical guest TBA
Following those first six episodes, Sky has also confirmed that additional editions are planned for early 2027.
