Sky has released a new teaser for ‘The Good Daughter’, a six-part psychological thriller starring Rose Byrne (Platonic, Physical) and Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus, The Perfect Couple), which arrives on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland this November.
Based on the bestselling novel by Karin Slaughter, ‘The Good Daughter’ follows sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, who have spent the past 20 years trying to rebuild their lives following a single night of violence which fractured their family.
Charlotte, played by Meghann Fahy, has followed in the footsteps of her father and become a lawyer, while Samantha, played by Rose Byrne, has taken a different path. However, when another violent attack rocks the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte finds herself as the first witness on the scene.
As the case begins to unfold, it forces the sisters to confront painful memories and long-buried secrets from their past. Alongside the thriller elements, the drama explores the relationship between the two sisters, their father, and the lasting impact of what happened to their family two decades earlier.
Joining Byrne and Fahy in the cast are Brendan Gleeson (Mr. Mercedes, The Banshees of Inisherin), Olivia Williams (Dune: Prophecy, The Crown), Michael Dorman (For All Mankind, Patriot), Harper Steele, Audrey Grace Marshall and Drew Cheek.
The six-part limited series has the added advantage of having the original author steering the adaptation. Karin Slaughter writes all six episodes, as well as serving as showrunner and executive producer, while Steph Green directs the entire series.
Made Up Stories produces the drama in partnership with Fifth Season, which is also handling international distribution.
‘The Good Daughter’ Season 1 premieres November 2026 on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland.
