Netflix has released a trailer and set a February premiere date for ‘Witcher: Sirens of The Deep’, a new animated film, which sees Geralt tackle mysterious creatures of the deep.
Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter, is hired to investigate a series of attacks in a seaside village and finds himself drawn into a centuries-old conflict between humans and merpeople. He must count on friends — old and new — to solve the mystery before the hostilities between the two kingdoms escalate into all-out war.
The voice cast for the film includes Doug Cockle reprising his role from the video games as Geralt of Rivia, alongside Joey Batey as Jaskier and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg from the Netflix series, and Christina Wren (Will Trent) as Essi Daven.
If you want to see more of Doug Cockle, we interviewed him back at MCM Comic Con Birmingham last year.
The film is written by Mike Ostrowski and Rae Benjamin with author Andrzej Sapkowski as creative consultant, based on his short story, “A Little Sacrifice”. Kang Hei Chul directs. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich produces, with Mike Ostrowski, Tomek Bagi?ski & Jaros?aw Sawko (Platige), Jason F Brown & Sean Daniel (Hivemind) as Executive Producers. Rae Benjamin is Co-Executive Producer.
‘Witcher: Sirens of The Deep’ premieres Tuesday, 11th February 2025 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
