3) If something comes from a reputable source, please quote that source, so we all know it is not just a rumour.

Starts today in the US (HBO), so let’s hope that Sky Atlantic don’t keep us waiting too long.

    • Chris says:

Sky Atlantic have always been really good with getting shows on the air ASAP. Surprised they have dropped the ball here with a show like The Leftovers. Whatever happens now looks like we will be weeks behind US broadcast.

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Sure I read somewhere it’d be re-slotted in “later” but I can’t find the source. However given London (and Stockholm for that matter) I wouldn’t be surprised if it were just left out

    • Justine says:

There is a shortened episode available on catch up of this one. It has all the case related stuff edited out, but the rest is there.

    • Brian S. says:

Found the following comment over on Sky Community:

‘I have just been on the phone to Sky about this episode and they have told me that at no point will Sky be airing episode 14 due to the content of the episode. Sky said that it is the makers of the programme that revoked the licence for this particular episode so Sky cannot show it even if they wanted to. Apparently there is a synopsis at the beginning of episode 15 which should explain things!!’

Anybody got any idea when Masterchef Australia and British Bake Off will be shown? Also if you could confirm what channels, thanks.

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Masterchef Australia series 9 will most likely be late in the summer as it has been previous years. It hasn’t begun in Australia yet. It’s on W.

The Great British Bake-off (in name, anyway) will probably be back in the summer, although the usual timetable may change with the move to Channel 4 for series 8.

  31. Brian Stabler says:

A few new and returning foreign language series from this week’s Radio Times:

    Spin Season 3 – More4 April 14th at 9pm.
Locked Up Season 2 – Channel 4/Walter Presents May.
Merciless Season 1 – Channel 4/Walter Presents July.

I’ve also seen an ad on Sky for Micky Flanagan: Thinking Aloud Season 1 – Sky 1 April 14th at 9pm.

Could you add Marvel’s Runaways and Castle Rock to the list. The former is, as the title suggests, yet another Marvel series, and the latter is the latest collaboration between Stephen King and J J Abrams.

And finally, while I remember, is there any news about second seasons of Witnesses and Jordskott? They were on Channel 4 and ITV Encore, respectively, about a year ago.

Anyone have anything on a second series of Timeless ?

  39. Caroline says:

Hi I know I have asked the question about last man standing already, but do you know why it’s not on E4 anymore?

  40. Walker says:

I understand Chicago Justice seasonn1 has started. What I have noticed is that the first episode is difficult to follow. The best way to understand the first episode is to watch one of the episodes in Chicago Fire the current season which is airing in US. After this you watch Chicago P.D and then the first episode of Chicago Justice. All these 3 shows have to seen in that order in order to follow the events. Its an advice for those who have not understood the episode of Chicago Justice. Only applies to first episode only. Hope it helps to everyone.

    • Dave Elliott Dave Elliott says:

The pain of being in the UK and having all the Chicago series on different channel unfortunately… I do wish Sky, Channel 5 and Universal would coordinate, but sadly that’s very unlikely to happen…

  41. Jack Purvis says:

I don’t see Decline and Fall screened yesterday by BBC S01E01

  42. Deadliest Catch Season 13 starts on Discovery US on 11 April. It normally tends to start two weeks later over here. Only five boats this time and no Cornelia Marie

  43. Katie T says:

Don’t know which episode itv2 stopped airing Mom but it’s appeared on the Radio Times schedules again starting with season 4 episode 8 on 13th April at 9pm

  44. Sophie says:

I don’t know if you include this on the schedule but I have just found out Versailles series 2 starts 21st April @ 9pm on bbc2. Just in case anyone wanted to know

  45. Caroline says:

Why has E4 stopped airing Last Man Standing? It was on my planner . Season 2 just started. Any idea why?

  46. Natasha says:

Does anyone know what happened to Last Man Standing, E4 started playing the second season yesterday and now they’re playing Brooklyn Nine-Nine from the beginning in its place

  47. k00lworld says:

    Hinterland returns on the 5th 9pm BBC1.

    • Richard O says:

The 5th of what month? You don’t state the month in your post. And has Hinterland moved from BBC Four to BBC One, or is it staying on BBC Four? Your post seems incomplete.

      • Ian says:

It is on 5th April (source sky guide) on BBC1 Wales only. Presumably will be repeated on BBC4 later. BBC1 Wales is available on sky.

        • Richard O says:

Many thanks for clarifying things. 🙂 Series 3 will eventually get a DVD-only release in the UK (and hopefully a German Blu-ray release like with the first two series).

  48. Bobby Jay says:

Just in case anyone’s interested, Season 7 of Weeds starts on AMC next Wednesday (April 15th) at 9pm.
Not 100% certain but I believe this is a UK premiere.

  49. Paul Dormer says:

I see Channel 4 have announce season 3 of Humans. The Swedish original only had two seasons.

    • Andrew Andrew says:

Hi Paul. Yes, that’s interesting although not entirely surprising that they want to diverge. I’ve seen the first Swedish series but not the second (because as far as I am aware neither has been released in English, but the first was at least released in German).

Have you or anyone else seen the original – thoughts on how the British one compares?

      • Paul Dormer says:

I’ll have to ask my Swedish friend if I see her next month.

        • DaveB says:

I think both versions are very good but also very different. Had problems with the UK/US version originally because I thought the Swedish version started so much stronger and because of certain character amalgamations they’d made (primarily Niska & Flash). But I quickly grew to like the new version as its own thing. Although so different its hard to compare – series 2 of Humans might even have been slightly better than series 2 of Real Humans. Series 2 of the Swedish version seemed to set up a lot of story strands for possible future series which never happened. Still loved some of the characters in Real Humans that never made it into the UK version though.

  50. Mal Colyer says:

Was that it for The Blacklist, or are they on a mid-season break. If so, any idea when it will be back. No real cliff-hanger as far as I am concerned.

    Thanks

    • DJ says:

We’re up to date with the US….The Blacklist: Redemption is filling the gap in the US until 20th April, so I’m assuming we’ll have all 8 episodes of that series before The Blacklist returns…

  51. Nicola says:

Any news for Gangland Undercover S2/S3. Charles Falco himself said online History had it then they changed their minds so he set up a viewer demand vote LOL and its meant to be back but cant find any info!

  52. John Henderson says:

Can some kind soul please enlighten me as to what is going on with Criminal Minds. Last week was Series 12 Episode 13. There is no new episode this week, but it seems to have only recently come back after mid season break. Or is it the end of the current series?

If I have missed a post, clarifying the position, I am sorry, but I can’t find anything relatively recent, within last week or so.

Just have to content myself with Big Little Lies, which is cracking David Kelley material, or is that about to go on a mid season break, after three episodes. Don’t you just love the broadcasting programmers.

  53. Dee says:

Can you add The Leftovers Season 3 to the list please? I’m sure it starts next month in America and it’s always been close to the US date over here. Thanks

  54. Are there any details on when/where The Handmaid’s Tale will be shown?

  71. Richard O says:

Season 2 of The Brokenwood Mysteries starts on Drama on Friday 24th March at 8 pm.

Source: TV & Satellite Week magazine issue for Saturday 18th – Friday 24th March, 2017.

    • Stephen Tannock says:

Was that any good? It looked good but so many shows at once meant I had to give it a miss

      • Richard O says:

Have only seen the first episode of Season 1 so far. I thought it was quite good. There were some similarities to Midsomer Murders but not many. It was possibly because of the accents, but some of the dialogue was hard to hear.

I think there are three seasons so far, with a fourth season in the works.

  72. Matt N says:

A couple of things I’ve not seen mentioned here yet:

13 Reasons Why (season 1? Miniseries?) is coming to Netflix on March 31st
Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (season 11) is coming to Netflix on April 14th.

      • Richard O says:

Have checked back through the posts on here from the last few weeks, and the start date (for when Chicago Justice starts on Universal Channel) was posted on 14th February but not the start time.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the Sky Living and 5USA schedulers decide to show Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. on Thursday nights at 9 pm as well.

  75. Mal Colyer says:

Was that it for Arrow season 5, or will come back soon. Not what I would call it a mid-season break after 15 episodes, but who knows with these Americans.

  76. Anne-Marie Chambers says:

Hi. Is ncis doing season 15

  77. Mart says:

Hi, just a typo l think. Vera has appeared in the list on 19th April. Think it should be 19th March (ITV Press Centre website)
